Please read a blogpost at the link below which highlights a nursing manual with inappropriate graphics, language and facts describing the condition of Down syndrome. DSG received a complaint from a KC nursing student over the weekend and we will be forwarding a letter this week to request that NEC stop using this offensive and outdated image. I hope your organizations will consider writing a letter to the publishing company as well if you are offended by this being used to teach nurses about DS.
