Guest guest
Hmmm, does seem pretty hot doesnt it. Ok, lets say to use unheated salt because heating salt changes the molecular structure. And i know they heat it up pretty high. Re: Dr. Mercola's diet > > > > Not only do you want to use sea salt, but be sure its unheated. > Refined salt is heated to around 10,000 degrees. Guest guest
Hi - This is a suggestion for Anne Meyer <macroz22@...> It could be spine related - Stenosis or another symptom from some other Spinal Situation. I believe you should see a Neurologist -or Neurosurgeon for his diagnosis of your problems. There are many sicknesses/pain that come from the spine. I think it is worth pursueing it further. Guest guest
Jeff You can get the strips at the health food store. You can spit on it or pee on it, there is a chart to tell you if you are too acid. this is a very good tool to use with kids and their diet. ja

Guest guest
Sorry I am so late in replying. I am always behind in my e-mails. Folic acid in a dose of 800 mcg per 125mg of DMG helps with the hyperactivity of DMG. This information can be found on the autism research institute website. Kirkman labs even makes a liquid form of DMG with folic acid and B-12 already added, but you would still need extra folic acid (also available) to get the 800mcg. Hope this helps. Guest guest
you may also want to check with NOW Legal Defense and Education Fund. Leslye Orloff is an attorney and the Director of the Immigrant women's program there. They are a wonderful resource and have up-to-the-minute information on all of the legal protections offered to women. and YES battered migrant women, regardless of the immigration status have the legal right to a protective order and to access shelter. they also have other protections so you should definitely check with Leslye and the other referrals people have given you because you have to be very careful where you refer women. It has to be to someone who knows what is going on with both domestic violence and immigration laws... best wishes , PhD, RN University of Wisconsin-Madison At 08:18 PM 2/19/2003 +0000, you wrote: >To Post a message, send it to: Groups > >To Unsubscribe, send a blank message to: > -unsubscribe >------------------------------------------------------------------------ > >There are 2 messages in this issue. > >Topics in this digest: > > 1. Guest guest
FYI, both my primary MD and my Gastroenterologist encourage the use of Milk Thistle, as well as Vit. C, Zinc, aloe and Dandelion, for Hep C patients who do not have extensive damage. They both told me that it would not harm someone with extensive disease, but might not make much of a difference at that point either. My MD is well-respected, is medical director at a prestigious LTC as well as the advisor to a complimentary medicine establishment and practices at GBMC, University of MD and St. ph's hospitals here in Baltimore. Contempt prior to investigation benefits no one. The information sent by Eagle included extensive bibliography for anyone wishing to check the veracity of the author's statements. Allopathic treatment is fine, and a perfect choice for those who can benefit from it and who have the support in place to help them through the side effects. For those of us who are in the group that has little PROVEN (as has been impressed on me here) benefit from allopathic - i.e. Interferon, etal - alternative treatments give us at least some hope and control. Guest guest
Hi JoEllen and all, Hope you are doing well. bsammon2003, Thanks so much for your post. Makes me shiver in my surgical hose if I needed to think I offended someone which was not intentional. I've learned to let it roll over my shoulder(s) & let it keep on rolling. Message boards are where people come to share their thoughts, suggestions, concerns, advice, milestones, etc. and I don't think it is right for anyone to tell someone else not to respond to a message in a certain way. Who are any of us to make the rules and regulations? If someone gives advice and that was not what you were looking for, then ignore it and go on - who cares? The important thing to remember is that there may be someone else out there that needed that advice and it pertained to their situation. That's what a message board is all about. It is not about sitting here dictating what people can respond to, when and in what way. Just a different perspective....
Guest guest
Hello-- I once purchased a GSR device very cheaply from Radio Shak. They called it a " lie detector. " It made a siren like sound, going up with more perspiration, down with less. I learned to control it to constantly go down, until it became a growl, a series of clicks, and then turned off. I don't know if it actually changed anything during the times I was not hooked up, which was nearly all the time. Thanks, Gene Date: Thu, 18 Dec 2003 14:12:47 -0000 From: " zerodot02 " <tmp1@...> Subject: Re: I'm new can someone help me If you just want altered states of consciousness, binaural beats (probably what your light/sound machine used) would be a great way to achieve it. I would recommend the Brainwave Generator software for that purpose (www.bwgen.com). Or you could get another light/sound machine. Personally, though, all that flashing light is very distracting for me and usually keeps me out of any desired mental state. I prefer to use binaural beats alone. Light + Sound has been shown to be more effective for most people, however, so you might want to give it another go. Binaural Beats are great for achieving peak mental states and treating mild disorders. Lots of ADD/ADHD research has been done using them. I haven't read much on OCD treatment, though. It seems logical that learning how to relax and control your brainwaves would be naturally helpful for conditions like OCD. For more severe disorders and for more specific peak performance training, neurofeedback is probably a better solution. As far as biofeedback devices, I've found that GSR devices work great for relaxation and teaching you how to bring your brainwaves down by yourself, without assistance from binaural beats or pulsing light. I own the GSR2, which I purchased from toolsforwellness.com. I think its about $60. I paid extra to get some cool attachments and accessories, which ended up coming to $120. I'll let everyone else answer the neurofeedback and other questions Good luck! Adam

A2/A1 ref/ground. the protocol is standard SMR, i.e., ~3-7 inhibit, 12-15/11-14 (etc.) reward, ~20-38 inhibit. i had massive swollen glands, white blood count depression, inflammatory joint and muscle pain, and general flu-like symptoms from too much pantothenic acid taken one day for the adrenals (i have CFS to begin with), and FPO2 started to reverse that. my brainmaster, however, had been increasingly malfunctioning for probably a year or more, and i sent it back to Tom C./Brainmaster Tech for them to check out. they fixed it, and when i got it back, the training was 100 times more intense -- more than i was used to b/c of the malfunctioning. apparently that last FPO2 session was too much, and it turned off the neurological control of the adrenals (it definitely is an " anti-fear " protocol, among other things). C3 beta training followed by 10 minutes or so of standard SMR at C4 seems to " calm and brighten " a little, but it is not affecting the adrenal axis that was turned off by the FPO2. T3-T4 " grounds " and worsens the symptoms (low blood pressure, low blood sugar, massive fatigue, dizziness, etc. -- i.e., hypoadrenal). so now i am out of ideas, and i appreciate any suggestions, including assessment guidance. thanks, jeff w. > an anti-fear protocol at FP02 seems to have turned off my adrenal > function.
