Guest guest
le, I am sorry I missed seeing your hottie socks. I have just had so much going on here that I couldn't get away to Delano. I started out at 333, so we were only one pd. apart. I have made it a little past my hundred mark now, and I know how you are going to feel when you make your 100 mark also. Keep your sense of humor and just think of how much he is going to envy watching you get in the hot tub with all eyes on you. Bikini and all. Make it an itsy, bitsy, teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini. I made some records of my own there at the hospital. I was up walking two hours after surgery, without them asking me to. I bathed myself. I got up the next day, fixed my hair and put on makeup, my own gown and robe and went for a walk. My nurse saw me and said who was I? She said most people didn't even manage to comb their own hair before leaving. I was bound and deteremined to get out of there. Doc said to walk, so I did. That is really important. You are young enough to really enjoy your new life. Make the most of it. I know you said you didn't want a tummy tuck, as you didn't want to lose the big scar from your c-section. Now you have a matching one from the DS. When the time comes just take pictures so you will always have them. Have the TT and enjoy the bikini Pearl

Guest guest
Hi Welcome. Your in the right place. We have everyone from pre-treatment [like me] to post transplant here. There is a wealth of info here too, as each of us share our stories. The first thing I would suggest is STOP drinking. Alcohol is bad stuff anyway, but if you have Hep C your playing with fire. Stay here and join in. You will get informed, and so will we from you. I am the lurker of the group. I havent started any tx yet, but am listening with both ears, and offering everyone a shoulder and a hug. I myself am getting off red meat, eating more fruits and veggies, getting away from excess salt, sugar, chocolate[grrrrrrr], and dont do any alcohol, street drugs, or caffeen products. I am 57, and just found out 3-4 months ago there is this killing machine called hep C. I too am scared to death, but folks here have been talking at me. I see a little light, and have a little more hope than I did have. I know little about hep C, so cant tell you much, but there are some really loving, brilliant folks here who know alot. Listen. Shake off the fear. Interact even with a stupid joke or two. [humor is healing]. Hep C doesnt mean death. love don in kansas Subject: (unknown)To: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Saturday, October 25, 2008, 11:46 AM Hi guys, My name is . I live in Irvine California. I have had hep c for over 30 years. I am 52. Until this year I had no symptoms. Boy did it move fast. I am now boarder line stage 4 with portal hypertension and a swollen spleen, I start interferon in 2 weeks. My doctor says that if the treatment works I may never have to have a liver transplant.. ......if it doesn't then we are looking at a timing thing to get me on a list down the road. I have an 11 year old and 17 year old. Of course I am scared. No other symptoms then the swollen spleen and my calf's have poor circulation. I never drank in my life and then 5 years ago decided that I wanted to.......... how bright am I. I am sure that is what brought this on faster. Any feedback and fellowship is appreciated. Guest guest
Hi , My husband is the Hep C member of our family. He found out 5 years ago he has hep c. He has tried treament and is taking lots of supplements, teas and has a very healthy diet. He is doing ok. He has all the symptoms, fatigue, arthitis aches, sleeping problems, etc. He gets up every day and fights to stay healthy and it seems to be working. Read some books on Hep C Holostic Life style. Llloyd - Triumph Over Hep C is a good one to start with, there are others. Read what they say and ask lots of questions. in CA Hepatitis_C_Central , " elizabethnv1 " wrote: > > Hi , I am from around that area myself although I moved to Nevada in 2001 with my hubby .I grew up in Norwalk , and then lived in Orange Co. for many years .Welcome to the group I am one of the co- owners here and do the research for the group so if you have any questions don't ever hesitate to ask them . > (unknown) > > > Hi guys, > > My name is . Guest guest
Thank you both for responding. I have read alot over the past 12 years that I have been diagnoses. Of course it is a whole new ballgame when you have symptoms. Now I am hungry for fellowship and information on who is on interferon and how they are doing. Also what are the stages of cirrhosis? I know fibrosis has 1,2,3 and I am now past 3 and into Chrisse's. Wondering what it means?>> Hi , I am from around that area myself although I moved to Nevada in 2001 with my hubby .I grew up in Norwalk , and then lived in Orange Co. for many years ..Welcome to the group I am one of the co-owners here and do the research for the group so if you have any questions don't ever hesitate to ask them . > [Hepatitis_C_ Central] (unknown)> > > Hi guys,> > My name is . Guest guest
you mean cirrhosis? that is when your liver cells are dead and surrounded by fibrous bands, its very bad hon, but you only need a small 'sliver of liver' to live and to regenerate itself,, one of the very reasons that YOU MUST stop drinking NOW.. not in 2 weeks, but NOW... If you wish you email off the list, please feel free to email me privately,,Jackie>> Hi , I am from around that area myself although I moved to Nevada in 2001 with my hubby .I grew up in Norwalk , and then lived in Orange Co. for many years ..Welcome to the group I am one of the co-owners here and do the research for the group so if you have any questions don't ever hesitate to ask them . > [Hepatitis_C_ Central] (unknown)> > > Hi guys,> > My name is . Guest guest
Was the spit up from coughing or kinda vomiting ? The differences are hugh , like if its from the lungs it could be a bad sign of diseases (i.e. luncer cancer, tuberculosis , etc) from the stomach could mean esophageal varices . Either way it is something that should be brought to the doctors attention immediately . Just to be on the safe side . Please let us know what the doc says if he does go today . (unknown) Hi everyone...Just a quick question.Hubby had his first dose of treatment on Monday and sofar has been doing fairly well. Minus, of course, thefact that he said it feels like having the flu and ahangover at the same time. His spirits have been highthough and that's the most important thing...This morning though he woke up more nauseous thisnormal and when he spit up, he said it was streakedwith blood. He said it was like when your gums arebleeding, that amount of blood.Of course he is going to the doctor today but Iwondered if anyone else had a similar experience.Thanks---
Guest guest
He woke up nauseated and went to the restroom retching. So I'm guessing it was more of a throw up thing... Guest guest
He should go to the ER it sounds like it might be varices , no matter the amount thrown up .
