Guest guest
It's been over 10 years since I was on this current antibiotic. I was at the ER yesterday evening and received a liter of IV fluid and a dose of Dilaudid and Phenergan for the pain and nausea. Getting all three things made SUCH a difference. I know I was pretty dehydrated, especially since my heart rate was up to 132-140 BPM. Once I got the fluid, that came back down to normal. I'm going to get the prescription for IV Phenergan filled today and take it before I infuse the antibiotic to see if that doesn't help. My doc who is controlling the antibiotic is going to get me a couple of liters of IV fluid so I can run it in as I need it. Good thing I'm a nurse and know how to do all this!! That, and the fact that I know to ask for it!! I go see a nephrologist this afternoon. It's time to get some fresh eyes in on this problem. 3 months of fighting this with the same docs is just 3 months too long for me!! Thanks for the support!!....Hugs, Marina > > Dear Marina, sometimes it looks like it will never end. Had you taken this > antibiotic before? Guest guest
Hi June: Thanks for the advice! I sure don't want to let any of that precious Enbrel leak out if I can help it! Guest guest
June, I used sure click for the humira. It was hard to get used to. Then I had to stop it. You have to make sure you hold it firmly against your skin and don't jerk back with the loud click or at least that is what happened with the Humira. Also is cellulitis the same as a staph infection? My hubby's brother has a staph infection on his hands and we are quite worried about him because they have tried several different meds and nothing is helping. The last few months have been filled with doctor appointments along with a nurse coming in every day to bandage my leg. Thank goodness, after almost a year, the cellulites infection is gone and leaving me with an ugly leg that looks like something took a bite out of it. I am so sorry you are having so many medical problems to deal with. I pray that you get some relief soon.
