Maybe it will actually help if you get the first denial by showing that you're trying to get better or trying to get a better doc. I'd try to make sure the new doc agrees with your " inability " to work. It could be bad if he/she's like one I saw when my GP was out, he told me that I wasn't disabled and he hadn't seen me or touched any part of me, he just walked in the door! I only saw him once! Regardless of any effect on your SSD application, you still need good care. Let that be the first consideration.
