Guest guest
Pam, Tramadol does not upset my stomach. I really don't know of any symptoms from the Tramadol. it's good stuff. But everyone is different and may be different for you. It's worth a shot. Guest guest
Hi Pamela, No, the Tramadol doesn't effect my fickle stomach. I usually take it close to food though. NSAIDs bother my gastritis so I take another med to help it. Also have GERD & IBS. Debbie J Tramadol helps my " butt " pain but not my shoulder. Guest guest
Nope. Doesn't upset my stomach at all. It doesn't help if I'm in a lot of pain, but if it's more moderate, taking one will take the edge off, and not make me feel " drugged " so I can get through the day. If it's worse, and I take two at a time, I need to be able to rest, because I get too sleepy to do much. If it's bad enough that 2 Tramodol don't work, I switch to Percocet. But if it's really bad, even that doesn't really take the pain away. And the Percocet I can only take at night, because I sure couldn't function with it in my brain!<g> > > > > Try Tramadol (Ultram). Guest guest
Me too. I take NExium every other day to protect my stomach from the NSAID (Diclofenac) and prednisone. Guest guest
One thing that's missing from this thread is very important. , you said it in the typical manner. If you don't hurt much, you don't need any pain meds, but when it gets greater, you take more pain meds and they just don't work. This is the problem almost everyone faces. I learned after a while that if I take my pain meds even when I don't really need them, they are much more effective. My recommendation is to maintain the normal level in your body and take more at the special time when you hurt more than you can stand. That will make the most difference. For the ones that have a real problem taking the pain meds occasionally and have an adverse reaction to them, a low dose maintenance level will get your body conditioned and after a short while, you won't have the dizzy, stomach wrenching, etc, side effects. As most of you know, I'm not a doctor, so my opinions are just that, opinions. I've learned a few things during the past 17 years and am just passing on the things I've learned. I wish everyone minimal pain and discomfort. Dennis in Eastexas " It's not Rocket Surgery " [ ] Re: Pain MedsDebbie/ > Nope. Doesn't upset my stomach at all. Guest guest
I agree with this 100 percent. I had more pain when I only took them when it got really bad, this way works much better for me. My general dr was the one who suggested it to me.
