Guest guest
Enbrel is expensive. That's why I don't even consider it. Now the rest of the free programs from manufacturers have been eliminated for those that have Medicare's Part D. I can no longer get Fosamax because of this 'knee-jerk' reaction from manufacturers and won't be able to get any of the new biologicals for that same reason. If you qualify for their program, you can get Enbrel from the manufacturer and pay a co-payof over $200 per month. Guest guest
Hi! My name is Rhonda and wanted to reply to your post. I don't know about where you live but here we have Health co-opt that helps us,check with your family and children services, or your local health dept. I have been on enbrel for 8 months now and the Enbrel Foundation helps me and I get all mine free You can also check it out on the internet. Check it out and let me know what happens,if you get no results I will talk to the place that helps me and see if she could tell me where you can go, but I will need your city and state to check and see if she can. But you should be able to find out. Also talk to your family Doctor and they should also be able to help you.Another thing you can try is the patient assistance program, they have a sight on the web. They can help you with all your meds. Have a Blessed Day and hopefully pain free. Rhonda [ ] Biologic modifiers I just reently started Enbrel injections. Along with Methotrexate, Mobic, prednisone, folic acid, vicodin. Guest guest
Enbrel should have a patient assistance program. Also you can try PPA (Patient Prescription Assistance) I think that's the name of the organization Montel helps with. Regarding Medicare & biologics -- I don't know if it has changed since PART D started, but Remicade has always been accepted for Medicare/Medicaid & SSI because it has to be given under a healthcare professional's guidance. Also, I had to use Remicade patient assistance program for a few months & they were awesome.
