Yes I can feel very bad when my SED Rate is low. The Rheumatologist

said I have both Polymyalgia and Fibromyalgia. Both cause pain in the

soft tissue but there are differences. The poly is more in the upper

body and the fibro can go anywhere. Poly is for me more a heavy

intense ache; Fibro seems to be sharp and move quicker. I've stopped

trying to distinguish which is which and just go to my bag of tricks.

I had weight loss surgery and so can't take NASIDS. Use Tylenol.

To change the perception of the pain so I don't need as much pain

killers, he put me on Zoloft.

I take Soma as need to allow me sleep, despite the restless legs, vice

like stiffness, etc.

Also take CosaminDS and all these seem to help

I have a deep massage every 2 weeks and see chiro to deal with trigger

points when weather changes screw me up.

Do an epsom salt soak after treatments.

The most unusual thing is, I respond to ice. Make no sense but

apparently the ice slows the circulation of the imflamationary stuff.

I sleep with a Blu-ice block and put it behind me when working on the

PC

Hopefully these ideas will help someone.

Gretta
