Guest guest
Hi Amy, I'm not sure if we have ever met, so, if not, pleased to meet you. If I may, I would like to add to the advice already given to you by some of the other members. My advice to you would be this, it sounds to me like you have hit a plateau, so what I would advise is to take a couple of weeks away from training completely, then, change your routine, if you are working with weight's, how often do you change exercises, sets, rep ranges etc ? I would also play around with your calorific intake, see if that has any effect, maybe go up or down a hundred calories. Plus, as some of the others suggested, try different exercises, maybe speed walking or cycling perhaps. What you need is something to "shock" your system, our physiology is very adaptive and workouts can lose their effectiveness if followed for too long. If you could, maybe try to change your workout times etc, basically, you need to make some changes, it's trial and error for you to find a way to move forwards again. If I may, I would also like to congratulate you on your accomplishments so far, try not to be too hard on yourself, you've come a long way and with patience you will move past this obstacle too ! I hope this helps, please keep us informed how things go for you ! Very best wishes and the best of luck !! Dave
