Guest guest
Hey Bob, I only had a really bad reaction to my first injection. However, your blood counts may start dropping, and that could cause you some problems. Are you getting Labs every week, or so? I forgot, are you a Geneotype 2? Sheena i hear so many people talk about liver transplants here that it's scary. i've been trying to find a way to do treatment since i was first diagnosed about 12 years ago but either i didn't have the money or my insurance wouldn't cover it or i left the job before insurance to kick. i finally saved enough money to live on for 6 months or so without working and i found a program that supplies my meds for free. i had to jump through a lot of hoops and it took 7 months but now i am guanteed my meds and medical for a year.here's my problem. i had some shivers my 1st shot but no side effects since. i may need to go back to work because i don't have a reason not to. Guest guest
yes,i am genotype 2 and i have been getting my labs every couple of weeks. my alt numbers have returned to normal but i am borderline anemic, which is a new thing for me. i just took shot #3 i didn't mean to sound flippant in my post because i know that even though it has been easy so far it probably will not remain that way but even as hard as it may get it's still easier then having to find a new liver and still having to do treatment. Guest guest
You can make it Bob, only 6 months and a real good chance of remaining clear.. I am sorry for any that have Hep C, but if you have to have it, Geneotype 2 is a far better place to be.. We have watched many clear.and remain clear. I am confident you will join them, hang in.. They should be doing viral load for you again in another week or so, keep us posted with the good news..
