just got off the phone with !

Hi everyone,

I just got off the phone after speaking with melissa and rick. He

just was released today again after being back in the hosp for nearly

a week with some kind of viral infection going on. sounds

totally near collapse but Rick sounds like he is hanging on ok.. They

put a PIC line in his arm and are leaving it in as he will be on

massive doses of antibiotics. Im just a bit confused because I know

that they dont give antibiotics for a viral infection but for some

reason they are doing that with him. I reminded them about how my

daughter had been on IV antibiotics for 16 days this last june and

reminded them of Ricks need to remember to take the pro-biotics for

his gut as he certainly does not want to end up with severe gut

issues like my daughter has. He sounds tired but he wanted to ask me

to let you all know that he is hanging on, but has been in the hosp

for the past week. said she is finding them an apartment

there in Tampa as she cannot keep going back and forth between Tampa

and Ft Meyers. I just sure hope they can get this figured out soon

so he can recover more fully and then they can actually go back home

for good.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as I know you will..

I'll update in a couple of days when I hear more.. I just want both

of them to rest!

Thank God for this wonderful forum.. we may not always get along in

every thing but when the going gets rough, this group ALWAYS pulls

together and does whatever we can for those who need us!

OHHHHH ok, thanks, I knew it didnt make sense to me either,, so thanks,, I either misunderstood you guys or something,, in anyway, Im glad its something that a antibiotic CAN fix!!! AMEN darhlin,, you get some sleep and let it do its work!
