Guest guest
Debra, What part of Texas. I am from Texas City (outside of Houston) and have relatives all over the state. If I were you I would ask for the Bextra. I am a big fan of it. It has been the only NSAID that I have used that helped me lot with the pain and had I experienced very little if no side effects at all! Take care! _____________ Hickory, NC _____________

Guest guest
Hi all doc does not know yet what is wrong with me....first they say RA now doc says might be lupus.....my joints hurt to the point that i can not even brush my own hair. my sig. other has no compassion or understanding. I cry a lot. Prednisone and methotrexate are not viable for me. I hope to learn about these conditions here , and maybe make a friend or two. Guest guest
Isn't it so frustrating, and so scary! when you feel so awful and the docs can't figure out what to do about it, let alone what's wrong. I went through this before my dx of Polymyalgia Rheumatica, first not able to convince my doc it wasn't just in my head, then changing docs, then another 6 months to get a dx as they ruled out things like lupus and RA. I hurt so bad I couldn't get out of bed by myself, couldn't dress myself, couldn't lift my arms to brush my hair. Luckily, my hubby, and my adult daughter and son were very supportive, I don't know what I would have done if I were in your situation. Have you tried to talk to your SO? no blame, no yelling, just " I " statements, to make him aware of how bad it is. Maybe ask him to go the the doctor with you, and have the doctor explain your condition? Or your pastor, if you go to church, or a good friend? Or even see a family counselor - by yourself if need be. I hope you can work it out, it is really hard to be alone, Know that you have support and friends here always.
