Guest guest
Carol: So sorry to hear about your daughter having pancreatitis which may be related from taking Arava. So often we try to take meds to help us deal with the RA, only to find they do more damage than the RA. I was on Arava for about six months, and had big stomach problems with it, mostly very sudden (and I mean sudden lol) diarrhea, but the thing that stopped my Arava useage was peripheral neuropathy. The PN stopped a few months later after I went off of Arava, as did the stomach problems, so maybe stopping Arava will help some with Esther too. It's too bad I had to stop too, as Arava was helping, but I was also taking Mtx at the same time, so I think it was them together that was really good. I hope that they can get the pancreatitis under control soon - hang in there - Kathe in CA --- Esther Finlaw <honeynut@...> wrote: > My daughter has been taking Arava and now she has > pancreatitis which > they think came from Arava.
