Guest guest
Hey Tess: Yes, there is money to be made with transcribing. I did that for about six years, working in a hospital, and then two doctors office's, and then on my own for about two years until my son got a tracheostomy and then it was nursing duties 24/7 with no time to put headphones on and type for hours any longer. After that, more surgery for him, and another baby for me, and being full time mom took up my time. Over the years I did think about going back, but now with the RA making my hands not as quick as they were, and more pain and stiffness with more typing, and my fibro messing up my once great memory and concentration. It just does not seem to still be in the cards for me. But, yes, there is money in it, and transcription services out there looking for transcribers, or even hospitals or doctor's office who send work out. I'd say give it a try, why not? Best of luck, kiddo. Kathe in CA --- Grammi B <grammi_love@...> wrote: > Hi All...as some of you know, I haven't had a job > for a while, and when I try, it just doesn't work.
