Guest guest
All I know is that evev if your vl reaches that 0 point the hcv will be present for life at the subatomic level in your tissues . That is why if can come back if you don't lead a healthy lifestyle Question on HCV Negative status Ok... I think I figured it out but will find out for sure when I go to Mayo 12/23 (those S.O.B.'S grrr) Traffic will me a nightmare and hotel rates double!!!OK back to HCV Negative. According to Mayo you can attain a completely zero, totally non detectable status. Hummmm I cannot find ANYTHING on the internet except one article. It said that a HCV Quantitative test cannot measure below <10 which says this test was Negative which is where I am. It does say also that a Qualitive test can determine if HCV is in your blood stream and this test will show as a positive. Dr & Tx nurse want me on treatment until I show a negative on the HCV Qualitive Test.Sounds to me like they want me on Treatment until my liver fails!!!! Has anyone ever heard of this or actualy attained it?Dragon SlayerShot #15 this Sunday
Guest guest
, you will always test pos for hep c antibodies but that does not mean you have a viral load.. The heptimax test is able to test for virus down to 2-5 iu/ml and is the lowest test available today.. but Im wondering if the nurse has given you conflicting info or something.. If you test negative for viral load with heptimax, you are undetecible, but you will always test pos for the antibodies.. Im hoping that I UNDERSTOOD you correctly... hugs jax Subject: Question on HCV Negative statusTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Friday, December 19, 2008, 8:36 AM Ok...
