Thanks :) My white blood cell count and RBC has been holding

steady for the past 3 weeks and man I sure hope it continues. Now

Mayo is concerned about my drops in blood pressure. Funny they never

were before....hummmm. After my Beta blocker hits my blood stream I

drop from 107/64 to 94/52. While I was at Mayo it dropped really

really low forgot the number but it was a really dangerous low. I

should have had her take it again!!!!

They discussed discontinuing treatment unless we get better control

of it and recommended some med changes. I could not wait to get to

the car and just hysterically cry myself to sleep. I hate going there

more than I can say with words!

, can't they change your bp meds or cut the beta blocker in half? Since you're doing so well with tx, that would be so sad to have to stop because of this..

While working on the ambulance, I've seen many young girls with a systolic bp of 90, thats not that low,, my daughter had hers drop to 56/0 once and she almost fainted with it that low, but after that, they figured out that she was fluid short from being sick and once they adjusted her fluids, she did fine.. Have they done what is called "Orthostatics" on you to see if you are simply fluid short? Im sure that everything is so different because of the transplant but as I said, couldnt they cut your bp meds in half or change them to accomodate your treatment? Were you on bp meds before your transplant? Is it possible that your BP is now settling down to a more 'normal' range? I dunno, just asking quesitons,,

Merry Christmas ,,

hugs,

jax

So close to finish line too :( I hope this is all a BIG mistake by a

Doctor who does not even know me. I never thought I could make it past

6 months, but was so darn sure I could at least last the 6 months!!!!!

treatment.  Thats my biggest fear to every week when they run my blood.
