Tess,

It is very frustrating to say the least. Well say some prayers. I

know have horrible abdominal pain. So bad that two tylenol didn't

touch it and two darvocet barely made a dent. I guess I will be off

to the doc tomorrow to find out what the deal it.

I hope I will not gross anyone out..but it is my normal cycle time

except this one is anything but normal. Started and lasted like

normal. The restarted with lots of bright red blood, clots and

horrible abdominal pain. Almost cramping, spastic type pain...sheesh

everything in the general area hurts. My stomach muscles are sore

sooo sore. I am sore from my chest to the bottom of my pelvis. I

have no clue what is going on. I just know I need to get this fixed.

I will update after I see the doc in the morning. I am trying to

wait until then so I don't have an expensive ER visit. We really

don't need one with graduating in May!

Arrgghhh!!! If its not one thing its another. I am wondering if

this cytokine storm thing is attacking my bowels or something!!

> Hi Toni...I have a friend who had an autoimmune disorder related to

her bariatric surgery called something like " Bowel Bypass Syndrome " -

the symptoms were a rash, diarrhea, and joint aches. The rheumy dx'd

it by biopsy of the rash. She did have a bariatric procedure where

her gastro system was altered. But in the many, many people I know

from my various bariatric groups, she is the only one I know who has

had this. It will be interesting to see if the prevalence of this

increases as time out from surgery increases. She was treated with

antibiotics and NSAIDS and made a full recovery.

few years that most doctors would at least know the difference

between a lapband and gastric bypass!

Well today I felt much better and did not go to the doc. The pain

stopped. I took a second dose of darvocet(two pills) last nite and

fell into bed. Today the stomach pain was gone. Hmmmm...I guess this

was just a monthly cycle from " you know where " . Ugghhh...almost two

weeks long. I am wondering if the steriod injection that I got has

something to do with this. Anyway. Not to gross anyone out....but the

cause of all my pain was one large blood clot.

I am off to get some sleep. It has been a far too long of a week for

me. Its been way too stressful. I am planning my daughters high

school graduation dinner as well...the in-laws are giving me terrible

grief!!!
