Guest guest
(((((((((((((((((((((((((Tawny))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) ... oh my goodness, kiddo...what a rough and bumpy road. Know that you & yours are in my heart and in my prayers. My youngest daughter was thought to have cystic fibrosis when she as about 17 months old...this was back in 1980. They did the sweat test then by taping a particular type of metal disk on her little leg...sent us off for lunch or whatever...then we came back after a certain amount of time, they removed the disk and 'read' the reaction. Thankfully, she did not have it. I pray little Chloe does not, but there are so many more things to do for it nowadays than back then. I know that doesn't take away the fear of a Grandmother's heart. ((((((((((Tawny))))))))))) Please, be sweet to you...rest as you can. And know you are loved very much, even from afar. Gentle hugs, always... Guest guest
That certainly sounds like quite an improvement over what they subjected my son to back in 1972. It will be interesting to see what they do to Chloe. Guest guest
Sue, Yes, it has changed since then. I will let you know how the test goes, Tawny > > > My youngest daughter was thought to have cystic fibrosis when she as > > about 17 months old...this was back in 1980. Guest guest
Hey TAwny, It was soo good to her from you. I have been thinking about you and praying you and family were all doing well. had the same test done when she was a baby due to a lot of respiratory problems. It was a breeze. We went in and they cleaned her skin real well and then put a special disk on the skin which they tape down to collect sweat. Then we were told to go walk around for a few hours and come back. They send it to the lab for analysis. Hers was negative. So I am praying the Chloe's is also negative. Toni In a message dated 4/2/2006 7:29:26 P.M. Guest guest
Hi Toni, Were staying positive right now, and just praying. Glad to hear the test isn't painful, just makes things a little more easier. Hugs, Tawny > > > > Hey TAwny, > It was soo good to her from you.
