I have been on Enbrel for over three years now, and it is working

remarkably well in keeping my RA at bay. I have very little pain and

inflammation, for which I am truly thankful. I have very little, if

any, joint damage. I have not had any adverse side effects, either,

except an occasional very mild injection site reaction, about like a

mosquito bite.

I am using the 25 mg twice weekly dose. I tried the 50 mg weekly dose

and found that it didn't last as well for me, so I went back to the 25

mg.

Don't be afraid of having to give yourself shots. I worried about that

at first, but soon became an old pro.

I hope that Enbrel works as well for you as it does for me.

i was on enbrel for about a year before getting off to try to have a baby. i

had a good experience with it. but, after the baby i had to switch to humira

b/c the enbrel wasn't doing much for me at that point.

Hi:

I have been on Embrel and Methotrexate for about a

year now, and have found the combination to be good.

When I was just on Mtx, I was still having a lot of

joint pain, and the doctor added the Enbrel. It took

about a month before I began to feel a difference, and

it has continued to help keep down my flares, and

hopefully keep the disease from progressing. I have

had no problems with any side effects - some bruising

at the injection site and a bit more fatigue the day

after - but nothing big. I hope that if you begin

Enbrel it will be as good for you as it has been for

me.

Best of luck - Kathe in CA
