pregnant with both hips replaced update

hi everyone, i had the appt with ob and talked to my ortho. my ortho

says dont worry about his hips,lol. they will be fine. he said he

thinks i may still need a cestion in the end because of arthur and

having it most of my life, my body just might not dilate for giving

birth. the ob says my hip replacements arent a concern for giving

birth, it just depends on how my pelvis responds. i am small, petite,

so a big baby will be an issue.....and if i dialte or not just like my

ortho said, but an absolute scheduled c-section instead of going

naturally into labor and trying to give birth isnt necessary. she

said i have enough range of motion to be put into correct position,

and they help me hold the position to make it easier. so, i guess its

reassuring so far even tho dh doesnt like the idea of not having a c-

section. i think he forgets that just bcuz i have artifical parts

doesnt make me any less of a woman, i was born a woman, and women give

birth everyday. anyway, i knew some of you wanted to know what my

docs said, and i will keep you posted on anything that comes up.
