Came down with RA in 1991 it's been a battle ever since.

Hi, . 1991...well, one thing can be said...you're still alive & kickin'!

That's already 15 years, so you give hope to some of us newbies. I was

diagnosed about 18 months ago, and yeah, it's definitely a constant battle.

What have been some of your experiences with meds? What have you found that

works for you? Any recommendations/wisdom you can offer?

For my part, just want to encourage you to keep on keepin' on. Folks like you

are an inspiration to the rest of us!

Hi :

Welcome! This group is great, and I know that you

will be glad you joined in. I've had RA for 7, almost

8 years now, and the battle does indeed go on. What

medications are you on? Right now I am on Enbrel and

Methotrexate, with Ultram ER for pain. This

combination works pretty well for me. I have been

having more pain, however, with the cooler weather

that has come on at nights here in southern CA. I

also have OA, Raynaud's and Fibro, and take meds for

Fibro, high blood pressure and asthma. My medicine

cabinet overfloweth!~

Hello, andwelcome. I just foo0und this group recently, too, but

have enjoed lurking cause when I start writinng I can't stop because I

want to help so much but I don't want to be boring and I get so tires

correcting what my hands mes up <G>

I just wrote a novel to depression and am too tired to write anmore

for tonight! but welcome and feel free to vent any time. I am

aggravated because of my typing so I wil vent right now!
