As many of you know and I HATE rules. We've survived for - I've

lost count of how many years,

without rules. All we ask is common courtesy and respect for others.

I feel this group is among

the best on the Internet.

This is a gentle reminder to please put OT in the subject line for

off topic posts. This helps those that are

here only for RA information to weed out the personal responses,

jokes etc.

When you respond to an email, don't just hit the reply button and

start typing. Include just the part of the post you are responding to.

Leaving the last 3-4 emails attached makes it difficult to find what

you've written. Sometimes entire digests

are included with your reply!!

Editing your e-mail is accomplished by deleting information from the

previous mail that is not necessary to

continue the conversation. This can be done by highlighting the

excess and deleting.

Mail programs work differently, so if anyone has a finger friendly

tip to share to make this easy, please let us know.

With my Apple computer, I highlight the part I WANT to respond to and

then hit reply. The only part that appears in

the body of the email is what I've highlighted. I'm not sure if this

works the same with all mail program.

If anyone needs help, please write me privately at

paula54@... and I'll try to help you.

Most of use have RA in our hands, making it painful to use the

computer, so help everyone out by

trimming your posts so we don't have to scroll through to find what

you've written.
