Guest guest
Hey everyone!!! I'm new to the list and this is my first post. About a year and a half ago, I bought the original Tae Bo tapes (you know, way before the Live ones existed). I did Tae Bo sporadically and really enjoyed it. But now I'm wanting to get into it on a much more regular basis. Before I buy the Live Basic tapes, I want to use the original Basic tape and get into it because I'm familiar with it and do find it challenging. I've read people on the this list and people at the taebo.com Web site message board who rave about the live Basic tapes, but I'm wondering if anyone has any comments on the original Basic tape. Here's the main thing I have always wondered about: I have read repeatedly that for maximum benefits one should do cardio 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes. Not including the warm-up, the original Basic workout, if I remember correctly is about 20 minutes. Do you guys think it is an effective workout? I have to be honest. I am not at an adequate fitness level. I know I have to start somewhere. Do you guys recommend the original Basic as a good tape for true beginners? Or, should I just do some research and buy one of the live Basic tapes? In a nutshell: Does anyone out there have a fondness for the original Basic tape? Be well...
