Guest guest
Hi MA and welcome to the group. The people here have helped me more than they will ever know, and their personal stories have been sources of strength to me, and I really feel better for having joined. The moderators, and a, do their best to supply us with information gleened from their many hours of internet research. I have been a member now for about 4 years - just wish I had found it sooner! Wow, 25 years with the company. I am very sorry to hear that you are being demoted in your job, and it appears that you feel this is based on your having RA, and because of job time loss because of various medical reasons. That must be so hard for you to deal with - something completely out of your hands has dealt you this blow career-wise. I'm sorry your boss is not more understanding. Dale had a very good idea about contacting Americans with Disabilities - I don't think that it was right if you were demoted primarily because of your illness. There might be things you can do so check it out. I guess a positive way to look at it is that you still do have a job. So many have to stop working, or are fired, because of illness. I also have cataracts, actually my right cataract was operated on almost two yeas ago, but I still need to go through it on my left eye. My cataract surgery went very well, and I look forward to getting the other one done some time this year. You have come to the right place for support - we understand RA in a way no one who does not have it can, and I hope that you will find some good friends here, I know that I have. Hang in there - Kathe in CA --- ma42347us <mhockman@...> wrote: > Hi > I just joined today and I need some support.
