I am from a small town in Minnesota, and the small town M.D. that did the blood tests made it sound like I would be in a wheelchair by the time I was 25. First thing I did was go see a Rheumatologist. He painted a much brighter picture. Fast forward to present day. I'm 33 and have had a hip replaced, a shoulder replaced and am currently taking steriods for two hurniated disks in my back. All I can say is use all your resources, never give up until you find a surgion that will take a chance to help you get back up and on your feet again. These are a great group of peopple that have been a real asset to me for the short time i've been here. Never feel you cant complain here. We all have our moments and do not judge. You are right, never give up till you get the results you want from your doctor. I also have RA, diagnosed at 25, but had symptoms for years prior. Moral support from someone that is going thru the same issues is a great help. Hope you can get those hurniated disks resolved soon.
