Guest guest
I will be talking to my RD tomorrow but... This past week I spent 2 days in the hospital for chest wall inflammation. Because of the area, and the increased risk of heart disease with RA they kept me overnight in the cardiac unit. My xrays, cardiac blood work and treadmill tests were all clear, aside from my 225 cholesterol...which I am now working on. After doing some research I came across an article that says that for people who take NSAIDS more than 60 days a year, 365 in my case, that aspirin therapy does not work. With histories of early heart attacks and high cholersterol I was hoping a little more prevention might help. Has anyone else heard this? Any age is too young but at 30 I figured I had a few more years to wait on this subject. Shandi
