Guest guest
Spinning is indoor cycling..You must wear padded short because you will feel the next morning. It is taught with a small group of people, going up hill and doing intervals, by the end you are soaking wet. This is cross-training, works well with Taebo...It is a fad, every gym has it including Bodypump....Last year by mistake, I took this class, it was super advanced, didn't see the sign that said for beginning so I went ahead and started this class, I didn't wear no padded shorts, nothing, regular workout clothes. The teacher in the middle of the class asked if I had ever taken a Spinning told her, no, but I think I made a big mistake, I'm in the wrong class, too late she said, keep going because you look like a pro. My goodness, she told us to crank up the speed for hills and do them while standing up, I thought I was going to die, but kept going until the end. By the end of the course, I tore a ligament and that was the end of my Spinning class...lesson that I learned, always check the board, wear padded shorts and right type of shoes...I wanted to shoot my butt for the next couple of weeks... > ---------- > From: colleenp99@...[sMTP:colleenp99@...] > Reply To: tae-bo_onegroups > Sent: January 25, 2001 1:01 PM > To: tae-bo_onegroups > Subject: OT: Spinning? > > > > > > I very rarely do more than an hour of exercise a day.. > > (besides 10 min. of spinning) > > > > What is spinning? I used to Spin regularly before Taebo. I found that it bulked my legs up with high tension on the dial. I have the genetics to build muscle fast. It's a great interval workout for fat loss though. I am going o be smooth spinning while pregnant. The teacher said she'll let me ride downhill while the others in class or going up LOL!!!!!!!!!! ~~Who hopes my Dr. will give me the OK to Spin.
