Guest guest
Hi, I had my first session with a physical therapist today. This was a diagnostic session, having me stand in something I thought was called an Equi-analyzer. Google had never heard of it, and now I don't know what it was called. Think of a three-way mirror in a dressing room but with brightly painted boards instead of mirrors. A small plasma screen is set in the center board, the one you're facing, and I am standing on a slightly raised platform. The therapist strapped me into what looked like a window washer's harness, securing me to the sides of the device, and she had the platform move in different directions. Several times, I tumbled over and would have knocked my head against the center wall if the harness hadn't stopped me. My final diagnosis is still pending, and I hope the session yielded useful data. As far as I know, I have arthritis in me somewhere. So, I can stay in this great group!
