Guest guest
hi there. I have been reading some of your posts for a few days and then started to answer one here and there so I guess I had better introduce myself. I had a job related back injury in the spring of 2004 and even though the comp carrier rejected it...I still couldn't work. I couldn't get out of bed. It took me until Late September of o4 to get on Achess (the medicade of Arizona) by then I had other symptoms. and the sciatica was much worse and affecting my feet terribly. In the matter of about 3 weeks I had diagnosis of 3 totally blown out and unfixable lumbar discs, degenerative disc disease (why they cant fix the above 3...they're all falling apart)and peripheral neuropthy. oh boy can things get worse? I'm thinking right about now.......well yes they can. I was also diagnosed with severe osterporosis (the worse case my MD has ever seen) also Found out I had OA, Ra and fibromyalgia..........what a bomb to have dropped on you!! so .....I fit right in here, I am on a ton of meds, can't work, stomach is shot from meds, and I can finally say that I am officially on SSD after a long fight. I am a 54 year old female. I have been divorced since 1997. I have 3 grown children living in other states. When I get my back pay from SSD I am planning on moving to North Carolina because my son and his famiy..my only grandkids (2) live there...how I am going to accomplish the actual logiastics of this I do not know.....mabe I should pray for an intervention by several very strong angels able to carry heavy furniture!! Hey..ya gotta have a sense of humor in this game...if you don't " they've " won!!! " they've " being all of out various and sundry aliments!! And I'm not about to let that happen to me!!
