Guest guest
Has anyone ever squatted down, and your knee " catches " and you are in agony? It seems like you can't move if at all for a few seconds, then you stand up and are just fine! This happens about every 3-4 months, I have no other knee problems...... Thanks, Pris (glad to be back after a busy summer entertaining at state fairs)!
Guest guest
There are times when my knee catches and locks up. As you, mine happens about three or four times a year - mainly when I am not watching what I am doing. My doctor has suggested a knee replacement; however, I am not quite ready to do that when the problem only occurs a few times a year. I really have to watch what I am doing, though. For example, when I sit at a desk, I have to remember not to put my feet directly under me or underneath the chair when I sit at the edge of my seat. It is just one of the many things a RA person lives with I guess. --- NELLIESTAR@... wrote: > Has anyone ever squatted down, and your knee > " catches " and you are in agony? > It seems like you can't move if at all for a few > seconds, then you stand up > and are just fine! > This happens about every 3-4 months, I have no other > knee problems...... > Thanks, > Pris (glad to be back after a busy summer > entertaining at state fairs)! > > > > > > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi, My knees don't collapse or lock up. They do hurt when I keep one bent too long. I do have to be careful to what positions I put my legs in and I don't have RA. Have the same problem with hips. Can't do anything yet since insurance changes Jan 1.
