I hadn't really thought about it till now, but if you folks want to see what

I do for relaxation, go to http://www.tffn.net/mags/april/denn.html and see

my article and pics. There's another item where I made a transmission jack

modification so I could still do what the RA has tried to stop me from

doing. Somewhere, there's a pic of me and the car taking off the starting

line at the track but I can't find it right now. Maybe it's still out there

and I can find it to put on my own page if I ever get busy with that. The RA

has made me lazy, not like I wasn't before. ;)

June, Sharon, anyone else, I have no problem with sharing the pics. Of

course the pics don't tell the whole story. I put a total of $500 in that

car and have been racing it at the local drag strip. Everything was done by

me, not bought or hired, and ran the quarter mile in 13.5 seconds at over

100 MPH. I have about 15 other Fords sitting here waiting for me to fix or

part them out. 2 interesting projects are my 1957 Fairlane with a 460 out of

an RV and a 1962 with a newer 5.0. If the boys are interested, I'd be glad

to talk to them. There are things I know that most younger ones don't, and

that info is lost if not passed on. It's very much like the older meds and

treatments and trees like the 'toothache' tree. It has bumps on it that,

when chewed, numb the mouth for a while. Aspirin is available from Willow

tree bark, etc...

If you want, give the boys my email- betnden at peoplepc . com

Re: [ ] My hobby

June hi! Dennis hi!

I enjoyed the pictures very much from Dennis. I would like to see my son

Josh,17

look at these pictures too. He's working on his car.

Thanks Dennis for sharing your hobby with us. I found it particularly

interesting because many years ago my eldest son did this for a hobby. Do

you mind if I show the car pictures to him?
