Guest guest
Ok, so this storm blew through here around 5 or 530pm today. Actually, it's nearly 830 and it's still storming. Anyway, it was 77 degrees before the storm, even the wind was warm. It dropped 15 degrees when the storm came in and dropped marble sized hail. My poor little cat was frightened right out of her fur!! Poor thing doesn't like thunder. Now, I know we were under tornado warnings, but damn!! I can't believe one didn't come whirrling down the street!! LOL Now the temp has dropped down into the 50's. That 77 degree temp has me wishing for summer!!!LOL But, to me, 77 IS even too cold!! I pray that everyones pain and fatigue levels are at a tolerable roar, or gone, all together!! Welcome to all the newbies. You are in the right place for support. Everyone in here is so supportive of each other. I, for one, am greatfull for all the friends I've made here and all the support I get here. Take care all. Gentle hugs...Marina
Guest guest
Hi Marina, Were having the same type weather here in OK. We've had horrible high winds up to 70MPH, and were still having wildfires, so not good. You stay safe, and my prayers are with you, Tawny --- In , " marina_troi " <marina_troi@...> wrote: > > Ok, so this storm blew through here around 5 or 530pm today. > Actually, it's nearly 830 and it's still storming. Guest guest
I know the one day (last week, week before?) our temp dropped like 40 degrees in maybe 2 hours? This weather is making me nuts. Today it was really cold and then it began to thunderstorm, and then hail and then snow. One day the wind was so strong it took my double porch swing and canopy down the block. Me and my Lil Dude, all thuout the whole time we have been commuting the trip to his docs pretty far south of us, every single time we had to do the trip, weather called for a snowstorm either here or there. every single trip. (since Oct and we go nearly weekly, it is 5 hours) then came tornado and microburst time and the one day we got out of there just in time for them to get a microburst. we were supposed to be in springfield the day and the place where the tornados hit 2 weeks ago, but changed plans at last minute and then got home just in time from there for them to get hit again. We just keep barely missing the bad weather by the skin of our teeth. Weirder still? We were supposed to be in New Orleans when Katrina hit..... Maybe if we had been there, maybe it would have skipped over, cuz we just keep missing it all. I know this weather is being very very hard on my symptoms. I tried to talk to doc about it but I do not think he was giving it much credence. Hang tight, looks like it is gonna be a wild season. - In , " marina_troi " <marina_troi@...> wrote: > > Ok, so this storm blew through here around 5 or 530pm today. > Actually, it's nearly 830 and it's still storming. Guest guest
This sort of sounds like Wisconsin weather! Thursday it was warm out, didn't need a jacket and I actually saw some people walking around with shorts on, although I think that was pushing it. Friday there were snow flurries!!! in WI dreamer_plus <dreamer_plus@...> wrote: I know the one day (last week, week before?) our temp dropped like 40 degrees in maybe 2 hours? Guest guest
LOL, I watch, definetly.I took a weather spotting class and then did not finish, thinking of doing so soon. My county uses wetaher spotters to help them keep our area citiens up to date on warnings etc. someday I am gonna win the lottery and build a sun room so I can watch in comfort, LOL - In , susan smith <bizzare48@...> wrote: > > My three dogs hid in thunderstorms, and my cat sits in the window and watches.
