Please honor our vets and troops tomorrow on Veterans Day. Every day

is precious to us...my sweet son-in-law has done 6 months with 7 more

to go in Afghanistan. Despite what we think about the activities over

there, I still feel we should honor them for doing what they think is

right.

The VietNam conflict wasn't looked on favorably when it was time for me to

return to the states, and we were met with protesters that didn't have any

idea why we were there, just that we shouldn't be there. That might have

been true, but the reason we were in SEA was that we were ordered there.

It's the same now in the deserts of the Middle East. It's not the fault of

even one of the fighters/protectors and shouldn't be taken out on them. Give

them all the encouragement you can and thank them for their service to our

country.

To all the veterans God bless you for making our country what it is today. I

served during peace time and did not have to deal with the negative publicity of

war, so I do not know how it feels to serve today. I pray for the men and women

that are serving everyday, and will say a special prayer for my daughter who

joined the Air Force this week. I am proud of her and her decision to serve our

country keep it free. God bless America and our military veterans!
