Guest guest
Hello! My nickname is Trinity - I chose it because it keeps me focused on the Mind/Body/Spirit connection as well as my faith in the Holy Trinity. I was searching for a group like this one for too LONG! I had Mentor textured saline implants in 1997 and was Explanted with a mastopexy this month on the 22nd. For almost 5 yrs I went through an emotional roller coaster ride. Finally both financially and physically the time was right for the explant. I found Patty's email addy at a french/english site and gave her the link to my homepage. Its a " my story " type of site. There is a mini poll ( 5 questions/room for comments) in the Guestbook regarding augmentation. Please visit and leave your synopsis of your experience when you have time !! ((hugs)) ** I really want to help others think about a more broader scope of vision before they have an augmentation. **Its obvious to me now, we get our minds set on having it done, research for months- look at the odds of something bad happening , and still keep our adolescent thought process that " It wont happen to me " . Regardless of what I know from personal experience , I firmly beleive in each persons right to choose Augmentation if they feel it's right for them. I DO know completely and totally - they were not right for me. I had no idea until I had them in me. My husband has been supportive all the way. He never wanted me to get the augmentation in the first place, but enjoyed it will it was there. Men! Anyway -- When i cryed this January and told him I made an appointment with my PS for a consult to have them out, he said " this is good - maybe you'll feel normal again cause you've gone downhill since you got them " - OKAY, this fried my mind that he was so aware of the change in me physically and emotionally. Maybe I was having allergic reactions to them , maybe not. I dont know yet. I feel better now only 12 days since having them out Within about 6-8 months of the augmentation I was more tired than usual,, much more tired. For a then 34 yr old, I used to run circles around my little kids, but that got harder. I've always been athletic - so the change was dramatic for me. The fatigue thing would come and go , like in cycles almost. So when i went to different doctors, they had no disease confirmation. They claimed , Stress, hormonal changes, etc.. Blood count was fine ,no anemia. One gynocologist almost laughed in my face when I asked her if she thought the implants could be causing me the problems!!!! She had a resounding, condescending " NO " . I fired her butt quick. LOL!! Well, Enough about me !! I have to read through a meriad of posts here to get to know everyone !!! Love and healing prayers to all Trinity xoxo my homepage - " Are You Really Ready for Fake Breasts " http://www.geocities.com/x01_trinity_x01/index.html Please spread the link ! Guest guest
Welcome Trinity Congratulations on the explant! I had mine on the 18th of Jan. I am feeling much better now as well. In the way you described how you called your husband crying, it sounds exactly what I did with my husband. My husband has been very supportive as well. We are very fortunate to have that kind of support when others are still struggling with their families to understand. I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the group and wish you the best of health for the future:) Love, Angelika ----- Original Message ----- From: " x01_trinity_x01 " <Valkyrja@...> < > Sent: Sunday, February 03, 2002 10:05 AM Subject: Hi, New here!
