You came here for support and information regarding your RA, and here we are picking on your smoking. Yes, there is some evidence that the two are connected, but enough, Marwa wishes to smoke, and so be it! Just my 2 cents worth! Guest guest
I wasn't picking on the smoking - I smoke too And get nagged to death by EVERYONE. I'm truly sorry if it came across that way. Guest guest
I totally agree, enough already. Let Marwa be, she needs our support not our ridicule. Guest guest
Marwa will stop when it's time. Friday afternoon, Betty said goodbye to her best friend and was expecting to see her Monday. She had been helping Ann for many years with her oxygen and the problems that come with it. Betty's other duty was to watch the kids all day, or at least that was the excuse. Ann only had 13% of one lung still working, so she ran out of air easily, wouldn't use the chair in the house and barely use the scooter when she went out shopping. She wouldn't even apply for SSD or allow to be put on a lung replacement list. Boy, she was STUBBORN!! She knew without a doubt that " God has cured me! " Well, Sunday morning, Betty got the dreaded phone call. Ann passed away that morning, so now everyone has to start picking up the pieces. Betty thinks she remembers the password to get into her computer's child-care accounts and other important info. Those of you that smoke, or don't, put pen to paper and document the important information rather than making the grieving survivors go through memories when they should be mourning. It's not right when a person dies at 57 years old because of smoking and quitting too late. We're up in arms because of the 'few' soldiers we've lost in Iraq, but many more die here at home because of stupidity (excuse me for being blunt) , knowing that high speed and rain make a slick road, smoking causes cancer, HIV can be avoided, etc, that are responsible for more deaths each year but few of us care about that, saying, " that's the way it's been forever, so who cares " . I, for one, care! Dennis in Eastexas " You can't always fix it with money " Re: [ ] Re: smoking Marwa >I totally agree, enough already.
