Guest guest
I'm not offended , I'm glad things are going so good for you. Yeah, doesn't it figure the sugary sweet warm and fuzzy go away when you have a complaint to be made to the PS..... It's as though you DARE to be unhappy. Any doctor who will explant but not do a mastopexy at no charge (other than operating room costs/anesthesia) is not a good doctor. That's just not right. Guest guest
You are right! My doc did the explant and also did the mastopexy at no charge along with the nipple reduction. My surgery cost the same as my sisters to have a reduction and lift. Usually you just tell them when you are there the extras you want and they just do it at no addtional charge. It is a courtesy. ----- Original Message ----- From: perlesetlacet@... Sent: Saturday, February 02, 2002 11:00 PM Subject: Re: MY PS I'm not offended , I'm glad things are going so good for you. Guest guest
That is right and when I told him I had a matopexy and explant by a surgeon in Ohio he was very offended and said that he really wanted to help me and why did I go elsewhere. I couldn't believe his attitude, arg. Anyhow he said he didn't feel that explant with lift was advisable because he thought that the blood supply might be affected by the implants and that it could result in lossing a nipple, after that how could he expect me to use him DUH! He scared the hell out of me, he just didn't want to do the surgery, anyhow I am happy I went to FENG, I don't want to live in constant fear that I had stuff left inside me, I just felt that any DR who doesn't believe implants can cause illness, may not believe that scar tissue needs to be thoroughly removed. Also Feng does a great job of cleaning everything out, and while she in there she washes everything thoroughly with antibiotics after making sure all the crap is out. I know that the pain was so bad because she took the time to scrape out all the junk, first thing when I woke up after my surgery she was there holding my hand and told me she had no doubt the implants were making me sick, she said I was full of scar tissue and that it was thick and my tissues were very inflamed. I was wrong when I didn't research implants more thoroughly and I just decided that with explant I would not make the same mistake, I researched for months and new for me, there was only one Dr that was going to cut me open again, and that was Feng. I feel good about my decision, it was the right choice for me, no regrets, no looking back with fear. love ----- Original Message ----- From: perlesetlacet@... Guest guest
: Sounds as though you are coming along pretty good. I never thought those movie stars could stand much pain but I guess I was wrong again. They keep doing ps over and over. I am holding out for my ps until I can come up with the cash. Guest guest
--- You will wish you were dead for about the first 7 -10 days. After that it really gets better. At one month out I swore I had to be out of my mind to endure that type of pain but by 5 months whe all the scars were completely gone and my tummy as flat as a board --- it was worth every second. Please remind me of that if I start posting around mid July when I'm recovering from MORE ps and complaining of the pain! You are in my prayers and yes, it really does get better.
