Guest guest
Ok, I have a question. How are you all managing to work out in the morning and make it to the office at a decent hour? My gym is only 5 minutes away from my apartment at 5AM. (in the evenings it takes a good 15 minutes). I wake up at 4:35, put on my gym clothes and am usually walking into the gym at 5:00 on the nose. On upper body day it takes a good 60-75 minutes to finish my workout. I use machines and dumbells. I had tried adding extra cardio but can't fit it into my schedule. 5-6:15 (gym) upper body 6:20 arrive home 6:25 feed my dog 6:45 walk my dog while tub is filling 7:15 start making breakfast 7:30 eat breakfast 8:00 when I'm supposed to be at work The only time I make it to work at 8AM is Friday mornings cause I have a conference call with my boss (who's in PA) Sometimes I bring meal #1 to work but that looks bad to eat meals 1-4 at the office. By the way, I'm not dilly-dallying or chatting at the gym. I did start using dumbells because of the wait on the machines. However, the dumbells do take more time. Lower body days are a little better since I take 45-60 minutes. I know you need to wait one hour after cardio to eat but is it totally necessary during days you lift weights? Maybe that's my problem.
