He says I definitely have fibromyalgia. It was pretty amazing when

he ran his fingertips up my arms and down the insides of my legs and

on my chest and back and neck the amount of pain I would feel. I had

no idea I was tender anywhere but my back although Isaac thought it

was weird that it hurt when he touched me and this explains it. He

thinks I am not getting into a deep enough sleep at night since I

feel like I have to nap everyday. He gave me samples of Ambien and

Lunesta and he also thinks my hormones are out of whack and that I

don't have enough hormones in my body but since I'm on the pill we

can't test them. He thinks going back on a higher estrogen pill

should help my muscle aches and energy and get me to working out

again. So I am going to switch back to my old pill which in theory

I did feel a whole lot better on it. He said women with fibro need

the estrogen. Of course when I asked him about my thyroid he said

it was right in mid-range where it should be. I disagree of course

but I figure why argue with him since I have an appt with the

endocrinologist in another week. I believe I got good advice from

him on these things besides the thyroid so I will just have to seek

treatment from several different drs I guess. I am relieved to know

he doesn't think it's autoimmune at all as my inflammatory blood

markers were super super low. He said all of this points to

fibromyalgia. I asked him what he thought caused fibromyalgia and

he said stress which I've had a ton of and he said lack of good deep

sleep. So apparently he sees no connection to the thyroid or

adrenals but all the books I've read on fibromyalgia do point to

thyroid and adrenals. So I am hoping between taking some sleep

medicine, switching back to a higher estrogen pill and seeing the

endocrinologist about my thyroid, that maybe all of these things

will help get me back to feeling better. Praise the Lord it's not

lupus though! Charisse
