Another member of the group, Lynn, asked about this a few days ago because

it happened to her (if what you had was a subconjunctival hemorrhage). She

saw her physician and he told her not to worry about it.

This happened to me years ago when I was pregnant. I was vomiting so much a

burst a vessel in my eye. It's usually not serious. I received no treatment.

Just remembered this, he did say the inflammation was only in the white of

the eye. He did a very extensive exam. I was there for sometime. I will

ask when I go back for a name, never thought of it at the time. I was so

worried that it was the pressure in my eye. That was absolutely great

though. I had a problem with that after the surgery.

Lynn, if he said that the inflammation was confined to the white of the eye,

then I wouldn't worry too much; however, if anything at all changes, I would

call one of your physicians immediately (preferably the ophthalmologist).
