Guest guest
, I wanted to post this for you, but also to everyone else who might be considering taking Ultram. There is a new med out called Ultracet, which contains 37.5mg of Ultram, and I believe 500mg Tylenol. The regular Ultram contains 50mg without Tylenol. So, if you might be a little worried about addiction and/or tolerance to Ultram, taking Ultracet may be the lesser of two evils. I noticed it at the hospital the other day, and at my neurosurgeon's office today, asked him if he was prescribing it and he hadn't heard of it yet, so I had he and his NP look it up. They were glad to see it, because after having prescribed Ultram for yrs now, they have both noticed horrible addictions. So, Ultracet may be worth trying. Just FYI. e

Guest guest
Ultram worked great for me until I had an allergic reaction to it. Apparently it is close chemically to Codiene and can be habit forming according to my pharmacist. I am allergic to codiene. Now I just use Lodine XL, Tylenol and darvocet if I really need pain relief. Toni ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
I tried it as well. No luck. Horribly upset my stomach and did not help with my pain enough. Hope you have better luck with it though. Guest guest
Hi Stacey,....My doc prescribed Ultram before, and it never worked for me. I am on Lortab for now. I hope it does work for you. If not, make sure you let your doc know. Good luck, Tawny
