Update on Marriage problems due to diagnosis-Holly

I thought I was on the verge of having to get a divorce because

everything was falling apart. I want to thank everyone for their

advice. My husband has been working out of town lately. We

celebrated our 8th wedding anniiversary Tuesday. My husband drove

back from out of state, knocked on my door at work, and took me out to

dinner. Apparently my husband was frustrated with me because I was

acting normal again so he though that I was able to do the things I

was used to. When he saw how going back to work affected me he

started to understand better. He said that he wasn't ready for

everything to change. Guess he's had a lot on his plate too. Thanks

again for everyones advice. We are doing much better now, but I am

missing him alot. Best wishes, Holly

Hi Holly:

Sounds like you have a wonderful husband, he just

needs some time to get used to everything. This RA is

not easy on anybody, and since sometimes you can't

" see " our pain, people around you have a hard time

understanding why we are not able to do those things

we used to do. Give him time, he'll be fine, and so

will you. Hope he comes home soon. Take care -
