YOu could ask for a 24 hour sleep study, but the only place that I know that

does them is the Blue Bird Clinic. I'd agree with Geraldine's comment.

Most DAN! docs who speak to the nighttime epidsodes have related these to

seizures or reflux.

my three year old falls asleep early (especially if he has not napped) but

it's the keeping him to sleep that's killing me! he still doesn't sleep

throught the night and a " bad " night means we were up from 2:00-5:00 am with

him giggling and stimming. any suggestions? we've already done an MRI and

EEG with no findings. thanks.

ditto --- it's just the getting to sleep. Once he's down, he's out. It's

just getting him down!

No, he just uses the regular OTC benadryl. Once he is in a deep

sleep, he generally stays that way. It is getting him to sleep in the

first place that is usually the problem. He would stay up all night

long if he didn't take the benadryl. He also doesn't have seizures,

so we haven't encountered a problem with that, either.

As an adult with reflux problems, I can assure you it will wake you

during the night!
