Guest guest
I'm still reading, reading, reading..... I'm scheduled to return to see my rheumatologist in 2 weeks. I'd like to go informed because at that point we are going to discuss my medication. I'm on Prednisone for two weeks to knock out some of the inflammation and pain in my joints. She also wanted to see how well I responded to it. I've read that Methotrexate seems to be the first drug of choice. My dad, who has suffered with RA for at least 10 years, is on Remicade - however, his doctor prescribed it after all else failed to help him. If you were me, what would you choose? What would you avoid? I'm very lucky to have an open-minded Rheumatologist who listens to my imput. Always, my thanks. Paige
