Guest guest
Well, we were at eye surgeons this morning and after 2 major very long very intense surgeries, the surgeon admited today Jimmy is not going to regain sight in all likelihood. Last week he still had hope. Also last week Shriners decided the leg braces did not help, and not wearing them this past year did not make anything worse.- so they discontinued them. Our peditrician could not hear the murmur the 2 docs at the 2 hospitals heard in Jimmy, (hoping this means it is a benign murmur. The ped thinks eventualy his bald spot on back of his head will resolve. (A side effect from surgery) I saw a rheumetologist in Chicago who confirmed my modeate to severe rheumatic illness and Lupus and has added antiphospholipid disorder and rosacea. He also wants my other doc to treat my ovarian cyysts more aggresivley. ANYway, tomrrw we leave for BEK to be a page at GENRAL ASEMBLY In spsprngfield. Thank you for all the prayers you sent. Guest guest
Dreamer, I'm so sorry that Jimmy may not be regaining his eyesight. He's been through so much since that rock hit him. I had hoped that the Shriner's Hospital would have been able to save his sight. Hopefully some future treatment will still make it possible. Sorry to hear you've had more added to your own plate. You will continue to be in my prayers. a On Mar 27, 2006, at 7:57 PM, dreamer_plus wrote: > Well, we were at eye surgeons this morning and after 2 major very > long very intense surgeries, the surgeon admited today Jimmy is not > going to regain sight in all likelihood.
