Dr. a Flint, is a professor of special education at UNT. She is opening

a private school in Arlington for students with and without

disabilities---an inclusive-model school. It opens this summer for a small

summer program and then regular school this fall.

Please help spread the word out and share this email with other parents/

educators/ groups. I attached some information regarding the school and the

summer program.

Summer School Options

Summer School Morning Sessions Afternoon Daycare (Choose one, two, or

three months) (for those attending morning session)

12:30 to 3:30 pm

Additional $60 a week

Ages: 3 – 7 (bring sack lunch, nap, play outside, centers)

Days: M-T-W-Th

Time: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

Cost: $60 a week ($240 for the month)

Dates: June 5 to 29

Theme: Fairy Tales

(listen to classical fairy tales, learn the morals of each story, learn and

sing songs, fairy tale art, fairy tale dress-ups and act-out skits, fairy

tale learning centers, gardening)

Dates: July 3 to 28

Theme: America the Beautiful

(stories of America, American folklore, songs of America, art, crafts,

scenic parts of our land, learning centers, gardening)

Dates: July 31 to August 24

Theme: All About Animals

(real animal stories, songs about animals, art, crafts with an animal theme,

animal science, learning centers, gardening)

Summer Remediation Time

Ages: 7 – 12

Days: M-T

Time: 10 am to 12 pm

June, July, and/or August

Cost: $240 for each month (enroll in one, two, or three months---not

available per week)

Topics: Reading skills, English roots from Latin and Greek, math skills

review.

Ages: 13 – 17

Days: W-TH

Time: 10 am to 12 pm

June, July, and/or August

Cost: $240 for each month (enroll in one, two, or three months---not

available per week)

Topics: Reading skills, English roots from Latin and Greek, literature

discussion.
