Hi everyone...My name is and I live in upstate NY. I have a son who is

almost 3 who was diagnosed March 31, 2003. We have just moved from home

based

therapy to a center based language rich program. He is doing well with the

adjustment there, not so well at home. I feel a bit of regression. I look

forward to gettingt o know all of you and getting some inside support. I

have alot

of frustrting wanna be medical doctors telling me what I should and should

not

do, MIL, Family and the like.

Hi ,

Welcome to the board. Wanna be medical doctors, huh? Been there. Not fun.

Dianne,

How wonderful for you to have a " working " vacation at Cam's! Don't

worry about keeping up perfectly with the board, just chime in

whenever you can. It is wonderful that you and your son are getting

some quality time together in such a beautiful spot.

Hey Kathy,

Whooee, if this is working, I found myself a new career! I'm

staying in a beautiful home on a gem of an island for twelve days,

with the same responsibilities I'd have if I were renting a place,

but rent free! :)

Hope to see you in chat tomorrow night. I think I've pretty much

exhausted my sitting time at this point, I can't feel my feet!

xoxo Dianne

I think we'll all be begging Cam to let us house-sit, if you keep talking

like that.

mouth of a acrid mine.. a coal.. no, a COBBLESTONE mine, yeah,

that's the ticket... and I hafta mine those stones 4...no, 8 HOURS a

DAY, just so I can get a meal.. a, a bowl of gruel, yea! And it's

gray gruel ... with mealy bugs in it!

That's what I meant to say.

Perhaps we've found the meeting location for our first " convention. " I

am sure Cam wouldn't mind at all!

In a way, I've been lucky. my rheumy put me on MTX, 10 mgr weekly and

prednisone 2.5 daily [also folic acid] and so far I had no bad reaction to

anything. This is obviously the right stuff for me. Keep your fingers crossed.

Has anyone else had RA to pop up overnight? Yap, it takes you by surprise ...

when you least expect it. I could not get out of bed one day, just like that.

For once, my husband was speechless.

Take care.
