Guest guest
Is Tramadol stronger than Hydrocodone (Vicodin)? The Vicodin helps the herniated disk but barely touches the cervical spine or finger pain... Thx,
Guest guest
Sometimes I think that > these diseases make us stop and take stock of our > lives, and really concentrate on what is important to > us, and those who love us, and basically " stop and > smell the roses " in life. Sigh, I tend to agree with this, although I don't much like it So far, the only good part about my having RA is that I've slowed down, which means that my kids can now catch up with me once in awhile. Plus I'm not always working at the computer (I work at home). Doesn't mean I'm necessarily spending quality time with them, but there is a bit more quantity

Guest guest
Hi ! Tramadol is not as strong as Hydrocodone or any other opiate. In fact I used to use it for breakthrough pain in between doses of Hydrocodone. Have you tried Cymbalta or Neurontin for the nerve pain. Cymbalta has been a lifesaver for me! <kyrik@...> wrote: Is Tramadol stronger than Hydrocodone (Vicodin)? The Vicodin helps the herniated disk but barely touches the cervical spine or finger pain... Guest guest
: IMO, no, Tramadol is not stronger than Vicodin. I have used Vicodin in the past, after knee surgery, and had some left over from that. I take Tramadol, 2 tabs 3 times a day, and have been taking it that way for about two months now. The pain is controlled, but not gone, just takes the edge off. During one bad flare, I took the Vicodin that was left, and had much better pain relief, but I don't think I am ready to ask my doctor for that in place of the Tramadol. I would rather wait until the pain is much more worse before I ask for anything stronger - don't want to run out of options as this thing will not go away in my lifetime, and I hope I have about 30 good years left lol. Just my 2 cents worth. Kathe --- <kyrik@...> wrote: > Is Tramadol stronger than Hydrocodone (Vicodin)?
