Guest guest
Dear Friends: Several things happened to me in the past month which have inhibited my conversations with you. First, I decided to go high tech and got a new computer and an ISDN line. BAD MOVE!!! Not only did the line not work, but my modem got all screwed up - anyway, I haven't been really busy - I've just been screwed up!! Second, I'm in Ritchie Shoemaker's study. This has led to really awful herxing, and I've got unbelievable neck pain. Then, today my German Shepard skewered herself on a wire at the top of a new 6 foot high fence and was hanging upside down by one paw. She's okay, but I need Valium!!! Love, Lovette
Guest guest
Lovette, You definitely deserve a valium, hope you have one or two on hand. And your poor Shepherd could probably use one too. Good luck.Vicki >From: Arconic <smott@...> > >Dear Friends: Several things happened to me in the past month which >have inhibited my conversations with you. Guest guest
I just got back last night from my exhaustive trips to and from AZ to NV to VA. I first off want to thank you Patty & for getting me mentally and physically prepared for the explant. Also for talking me through everything before and after the surgery. Especially when I wasn't expecting to have drains and realized that they were there when I started to feel some blood running down my stomach while walking into the hotel room. That was really scary but now I look back at it and laugh. I really freaked when I found out about the drains since I was paranoid about it in the first place. I called Patty and so worried about the pain to take them out. Anyway, things went terrific. I only needed them in for one day & night and they were out. There wasn't much drainage at all. I have slight bruising, just a little yellow in areas (same like as where my IV was.) When the doc took out the drains I didn't even feel a thing! I am so completely relieved and just such a happier person because of this decision to have the explantation. I owe it all to this group! THANK YOU! Patty, I just want to give you an extra thanks and hugs and kisses for all of your support and being there for me, physically, helping me out in the hotel room and showing us around the town. I really enjoyed the Bellagio Water Ballet and will treasure the memories of this trip. I hope to see you again soon! You are such a kind person and thank you for the book. I opened it and found the beautiful card and just want to tell you how thankful I am to have met you! I have no regrets with this decision and love my new set! It is me and nothing else. Au Naturel!!! I am so happy! I will be posting before and after photos very shortly. I think everything looks great already, I don't know if I could be even more pleased in the future. I am feeling better already. I have been able to get a lot of sleep. I have not had to take my pain pills (except for the ones I took before the doc came to take out the drains) I don't think I even had enough time for those to kick in before he got there. My email address changed so I guess I had to join the group again. I don't know but I am here to stay and help others in the future! I love you all! THANK YOU!!! Guest guest
Hi Angelika, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, and I am just so happy that it is all over for you and that you are totally delighted with the results! I couldn't have gotten better news from you--this is just what I wanted to hear! It was a joy to meet you, too, and if and when you come to Vegas again, I would love to see the sights with you on the Strip again. You are welcome in my home anytime! Get good rest and keep us informed of your healing progress. As I've always said to everyone, patience is the key, but I am really hoping that you see steady and immediate improvements in the next few months. You have the biggest part licked and that is a positive attitude! Take care, Love, Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: " camattoni2000 " <angmattoni@...> < > Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2002 9:16 PM Subject: I'M BACK!!! > I just got back last night from my exhaustive trips to and from AZ to > NV to VA.
