So...Dr.s and Friends both told me to get real...you just can't do this (work)anymore! And they were so right. I can't even type anymore without going back over it 2-3 times to find all the errors...whether its my hands or eyes or brain fade...I just can't type. And some days my writing is just as bas! I can't imagine how I would screws up Dr.s orders and charting!! And like you I spent years doing art work and quilting, knitting etc...all which are not easy on your hands! My meds aren't working, I have too many side effects. My rhummey is likely to change them all when I see him in 2 weeks. And like I said before...my kids just don't seem to understand that this is a degenerative disease and it is not going away tomorrow or the next day. It is here and I have to deal with it. I just wanted to say that you really said it all!! IT sure fits! why cant people understand that if we could work we would? Do they think that SSDI is going to make us rich?? that is a big laugh! if you are single and that is your only income.you are below poverty level! I wish I could work!
