Guest guest Posted February 27, 2006 Report Share Posted February 27, 2006 Hi a: A lot depends on your insurance coverage, many insurance companies don't let you go on Enbrel or other biologics until you have tried and failed with other meds (read less expensive). For me, Enbrel combined with Mtx is working very well. I would even say the RA at this point is being overshadowed by my Fibromyalgia pain. If you are able to go on a biologic, Enbrel would get my vote. The shots are not that hard to do, it all comes in a little packet with all the things needed for the shot, and once you feel the good the Enbrel does for your RA, you'll be looking forward to the shots. I do the twice weekly injections.
